For the sixth time, the Vienna Boys Choir has been invited to participate in the prestigious event; Mariss Jansons conducts

The choir will sing two polkas by the brothers Strauss. "Sängerlust" (Singer's Joy), a French polka by Johann Strauss II, has a classic text by satirist Josef Weyl. The fast polka "Auf Ferienreisen" (On Holiday) by Josef Strauss has not been sung before; the performance of the new choral version is a world premiere.
