Friday Afternoons

Luiz de Godoy and his choir take their audience on a musical journey through time - beginning with a medieval hymn to Mary, set to music by Gerald Wirth. This is followed with works by Mendelssohn, Gallus, Schubert, and Strawinski. And another piece by Wirth - Hiemali tempore, wintertide, provides a welcome cooling effect.

In the second part of the concert, the choir performs alongside the Camerata Schulz orchestra - works by Mozart, Haydn, Humperdinck, and Strauss. A perfect beginning for the weekend.
