Two Concerts in Carinthia
Carinthia, not China. On
their short tour of Carinthia, the boys will stop in Wolfsberg on Thursday, and in Klagenfurt on Saturday. The choir, conducted
by choirmaster Jimmy Chiang, will sing Gregorian chant, and music by Monteverdi, Haydn, Rossini, Mendelssohn, Offenbach, and
Strauss. In addition, there will be a sneak prehear of the choir's upcoming album, "Together" - and an opportunity to hear
the boys' rendition of the "Wellerman" shanty live.
"Of course we would have loved to travel to China", says Robin, who is 13, "but it is also nice to be at home." He knows what he is talking about; his home is in Carinthia. For him, it is a rare opportunity to sing in front of his family.
