The First Sung Service of the Season

Our Sunday services kick off with Joseph Haydn's Great Organ Mass; officially "Missa in honorem Beatissimae Virginis Mariae" in E flat major. It's a spectacular work with lots to sing, and some intricate organ playing, hence the name. Sunday's organist is Wolfgang Kogert; at the mass's first performance, it may have been Haydn himself.
