Carol Concerts with the Vienna Boys Choir in Vienna

The "Good Shepherds" concert series at MuTh are one of our holiday traditions, and an eagerly awaited highlight of our concert season in Vienna. Every year, we pick music to do with shepherds and Christmas, oratorios telling the Christmas story, and shepherd carols (there are lots!). This year, we will perform the opening chorus from Bach's "Weihnachtsoratorium", a short Christmas cantata by Michael Haydn ("Run, ye shepherds"), and two famous choruses by G.F. Handel. For the final two carols, the audience is invited to sing along.
