Lent at the Imperial Chapel

Lent is a time for introspection. On the six Sundays during Lent, the Chapel Imperial performs special settings of the Mass ordinary, by composers of the European Renaissance and Baroque, accompanied by a small ensemble or a cappella. The "Gloria" is omitted until Easter.

25.02. und 17.03.2024: Antonio Caldara, Missa dolorosa
03.03. und 24.03.2024: Johann Joseph Fux, Missa confidentiae
